Frequently Asked Questions

Do you ship internationally?

Our online store is currently set up for domestic US shipping only. However, we're happy to work with international customers on a case-by-case basis! If you're located outside the United States and would like to place an order, please reach out to us directly and we'll do our best to make it happen. Just let us know what you're interested in and where you're located, and we'll get back to you with shipping options and a quote.

How long does shipping take?

Most in-stock items ship within 1–3 business days. Personalized or custom orders may take additional time depending on the complexity of the engraving or design. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.

Do you offer personalization or engraving?

Yes! Many of our products can be personalized with custom text, names, dates, or logos. Look for the personalization option on individual product pages, or contact us for more complex custom requests.

What wood species do you use?

We work with a variety of beautiful domestic hardwoods including walnut, maple, cherry, oak, beech, apple, and sapele. Wood species availability may vary by product. Each piece highlights the natural character of the wood, so grain patterns and color will vary slightly.

How do I care for my cutting board?

Hand wash your board with warm soapy water and dry it immediately — never soak it or put it in the dishwasher. To keep it looking its best, apply food-safe mineral oil or a beeswax conditioner every few months. This prevents drying, cracking, and warping over time.

What's the difference between face grain, edge grain, and end grain cutting boards?

Face grain boards show the wide, flat face of the plank and are best for serving. Edge grain boards expose the long edge of the plank — durable and great for everyday use. End grain boards are cut from the ends of the wood, creating the classic checkerboard look — they're the most knife-friendly and self-healing, and are considered the gold standard for serious cooks.

Are your products made in Oregon?

Yes! All of our products are handcrafted in Oregon using locally sourced hardwoods. We're proud to support local forestry and bring the beauty of Pacific Northwest wood into your home.

Can I place a bulk or wholesale order?

Absolutely — we love working with businesses, restaurants, wedding planners, and corporate gift buyers. Please get in touch with your needs and we'll put together a custom quote for you.

Do you offer gift wrapping or gift messages?

Yes! We can include a handwritten gift message with your order. Just add your message in the notes field at checkout. Gift wrapping options may be available — check the product page or contact us for details.

What if my item arrives damaged?

We take great care in packaging every order, but if something arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damage and your order number. We'll make it right with a replacement or refund.

Can I return or exchange my order?

We accept returns on non-personalized items within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original condition. Personalized or custom items are final sale unless there is a defect or error on our part. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.

How do I place a custom order?

We love creating one-of-a-kind pieces! For custom orders — whether it's a unique size, a special wood species, a logo engraving, or a completely custom design — just reach out to us with your idea and we'll work with you from concept to completion.
