Handmade Oregon Oak Dice Tray with Felt Lining & Storage

$55.00

Game night is more fun when you aren't chasing dice across the table.

I built this felt-lined dice tray from locally grown Oregon oak, with a roomy rolling area and two smaller compartments for keeping dice, tokens, and game pieces close at hand. It's a practical addition to the game table, with the warmth and character of real wood.

A place to roll, a place to organize

The main rolling area measures approximately 12" × 9", surrounded by oak sides approximately 1½" tall to help keep dice contained. Soft, dark felt cushions their landing and helps quiet the clatter.

Two separate felt-lined storage compartments, each approximately 4½" × 2½", give your spare dice and small game pieces a place of their own. Whether you're settling in for a tabletop RPG, a board game, or a few rounds of a favorite dice game, everything stays a little more organized.

Local wood, made by hand

I made this tray in my Eugene, Oregon workshop using locally grown oak. Knowing where my wood comes from matters to me, and I enjoy turning it into something that becomes part of everyday life, including an evening around the game table.

I finished the oak with tung oil to bring out its natural grain, followed by a polyurethane topcoat for added durability. The wood's grain and color variations give the tray its own character.
