This handcrafted box combines locally grown walnut, locally grown heirloom apple wood, and striking purpleheart in a unique design that looks beautiful from every angle.

The top and bottom are made from walnut, while the sides alternate between two pieces of locally grown heirloom apple and two pieces of rich purpleheart. The contrast between the warm walnut, light apple, and deep purpleheart gives this small box a distinctive, colorful character.

Unlike a hinged box, the lid is completely removable, giving the piece a simple, clean feel and making it easy to access whatever treasures you choose to keep inside.

The inside bottom is lined with super-soft gray felt, and the exterior bottom is also lined with gray felt, giving the box a soft, finished surface wherever it rests.

A hand-applied tung oil finish enhances the natural color and grain of each wood while giving the box a warm, handcrafted appearance.

At 3.5" × 3" × 1.5", it's perfectly sized for jewelry, rings, small keepsakes, or other little treasures.
