This board stops people in their tracks. Handcrafted from locally grown and locally sourced Pacific Northwest hardwoods, it features a striking natural gradient that flows from light to dark across the surface — the result of carefully arranged Maple and Beech on one end transitioning through Cherry and Oak into rich, deep Walnut on the other. No stains, no dyes — just the honest beauty of real wood.

At approximately 16" × 11.5" × 1.5", it's sized for serious prep work and refined enough to go straight from the kitchen to the table as a serving board. The edge grain construction offers excellent knife-friendliness and long-term durability, while a 400-grit sanding process leaves the surface exceptionally smooth. Four hand-applied coats of natural mineral oil and beeswax enrich the wood's tones and protect the surface over time.

A routed juice groove runs along the outer edge to catch liquids during carving, and non-slip rubber feet — secured with stainless steel screws — keep the board stable on the countertop. Because each board is made by hand from natural hardwood, the gradient pattern and color intensity will vary slightly, making every piece completely one of a kind.
